(Ottawa, August 31, 2005) – Athletics Canada is pleased to announce its official list of 10 athletes who have been selected to compete at the 2005 IAAF World Half Marathon Championships taking place in Edmonton, Alberta, October 1.

Made up of five men and five women, team Canada will be loaded with experience as no less than 7 members have competed at a World Championship before. This year’s team will mark Canada’s largest entry into the IAAF World Half Marathon Championships.
