Hey TheEd...I am actually heading back to do a run right now. I WAS going to start a new cycle, but I'm actually going to start over and go through the full build up. This last month has been bad with only a partial build up done before getting sick, then taking the last week and a half off post half marathon.
Good rest. I've got my new goal - 35minutes for April 2013! hehe. Going to take it cycle to cycle though.
So..Day 1 build up today. I'm not going to look for another 10k race until maybe august/september perhaps...Definitely one before november...so i can post a sub 40 time and get proper seeding in my april 2013 race. (I have wagered more money with some friends to improve even more...yes, i might have a problem
Build up will be good, and get me back into the swing.
Sound good? Maybe do 1 3 week build up cycle...then start on the sub 40 cycle again...do a few months of those and look for a race...repeat.
