Race day

Hello
today's race day was on my own a 6k :
4'22 bpm 142
4'23 bpm 151
4'48 bpm 152
4'29 bpm 153
4'14 bpm 168
4'00 bpm 169
temperature 31ºC and weight 77,8 kg
Goal for next cycle is to run the 2k sesión at 4'15, and next race a 6k @ 4'15, and to drop weight under 76kg.

Progress

Onto the next cycle already. Did a 4.08 / min 6k race to finish last cycle. Did 4.04/2k series yesterday in this cycle on running track:
4.04 153bpm 4/5
4.06 160bpm 4/5
4.05 166bpm 5/5
4.05 169bpm 5/5
4.03 171bpm 6/5

Main goal will be to lower body weight, still around 77 kg

edging back to form

plan when to have your down period and a week or 2 build-up, so as to avoid going stale

the weight should drop naturally when the body is ready

Hello TheEd:
no progress to report from the last 3 weeks. Started a new cycle this week and yesterday's 2k was a very bad day.
Body weight 76kg.

Cycle

Hello TheEd
finished the cycle with a hilly 8k race with 4'04 average and 168bpm. Felt good.
Weight around 75kg now.
Trying to go for 4min pace 2k session in next cycle.

Hi Tallon, I would start the 2k session at 4.05 for the first 2 x 2k and then look to go quicker

best approach
