Hi The Ed. Is it normal that after the effort made, to have the pulse rate a little over the normal. I was in 44 bpm and today I woke up around 50. I didn't check it yesterday.

I don't know. Now, sitting in front of the computer it is normal between 43 and 45. I'm having trouble sleeping more than 6 hours, and usually don't get to bed early...

Hi TheEd, just to let you know, I wasn't able to begin with the cycles this past week. I made 8km runs on sunday and monday, a 12 km run on tuesday, half an hour rowing machine and some upper body work at the gym on wednesday, but on thursday I was feeling the symptoms of a cold. I'll rest until tomorrow and try to begin next cycle on tuesday. Rgds.

Hi TheEd. Only managed to do 4 2k repetitions today the times were 8:12, 8:15, 8:24, 8:20. Heart rate maxed at 174 on the first 2, 180 in the third and last, down to 134 at rest. Very tough session. It seems that I've lost some form...Rgds.
Héctor.

no .. it is not a case of losing form but more the body adapting to various stresses
check your morning pulse for a few days to see if it is elevated and focus on recovery
the body goes through these changes on a normal basis
till later
