Hi Ed,

Another weekend down..

Today's run was fine (aside from the rain - thanks Melbourne!!).

So next week's 1 km session - should I do this on Tuesday again? And at the same pace (3:55) or quicker?

same pace Andy .. try aim for 60 seconds Rest in-between for all of them

All went to plan tonight Ed.

Sets 1 - 4 were at 3:55, with 5 & 6 again pushed out to 4:00..all 6 were completed with 60 secs rest between this time though.

So Thursday..similar to last week with a 30 - 40 min session or did you have something else up your sleeve?

Andy, no need for a long run

only sessions to make you feel positive

you can run 20 minutes tomorrow with the last 10 minutes at race pace, for another instance .. you could run 3k at race pace

we will chat about the rest of the week from Wednesday

hmmm..well how does "neutral" sound? 3kms tonight felt ok, but not great - legs felt more tired than I've experienced for a while.

So one more session before Sunday? Or just look forward to the race from here?

throw in the 6 x 1 minute pickup with 1 minute easy as you feel before the event

provide feedback during the week to let me know how things are going
