Off Period Training Plan: Next Weeks


Next two and a bit weeks, Week 1 Tues-Thurs away; no bike:

F 20min Bike AM. PM, first run since last Sun race 30min easy
S Rest
S 50min easy run and totally relaxed - at ease throughout
M 20min bike AM, PM 30min Waddle easy and relaxed
T 30min easy run
W 30 to 40min easy and totally relaxed – at ease through out
T Rest
F 20 mins Bike AM, 90 min Bike PM, easy and relaxed
S easy day of 40min running
S 120-150 min Bike easy and totally relaxed – at ease through out

M 20mins Bike AM. PM 40 min run easy & relaxed – at ease through out
T 20mins Bike AM. PM Rest
W 20min Bike AM. PM 40-50min easy run, relaxed, at ease through out
T 20min Bike AM. 30min easy run & totally relaxed, at ease through out
F 20 min Bike, 120min Bike easy and relaxed, at ease through out
S Rest
S 1hr easy and totally relaxed – at ease through out

What say you coach re above, any observations?

this looks fine for an off period (apologies for replying only now)

as long as you get the cycling right so it doesn't tire the legs too much for when it comes to running
