Post Women’s Race 2015 heads to Johannesburg

Newtown (Johannesburg)- The Totalsports Women’s Race heads to Johannesburg on Sunday, 09 August 2015. Sporting a new venue, Mary Fitzgerald Squarewill be a hub of excitement when thousands of runners and walkers unite on the start line, eagerly awaiting the opportunity to “Run Their City”.

Taking place on National Women’s Day, the Totalsports Women’s Race supports PinkDrive, a Non-Profit Company (NPC) that is committed to improving breast cancer awareness, education, and providing and offering services to women across South Africa.

Date: Sunday, 09 August 2015
Start & Finish Venue: Mary Fitzgerald Square, Newtown (JHB)
Distance & Entry Fee: 5km run/walk – R79.80
10km run/walk – R106.59 / licensed runner
Temporary Licence – R17.10
10km run/walk – R123.69 / unlicensed runner
Start Time: 08:00

All entrants will receive an exclusive fitted Tee, while finisher’s bracelets will be handed to all runners/walkers as they cross the finish line.

Runners and walkers can look forward to an exciting line-up of on route activations. Once across the finish line, put up your feet and enjoy a live performance by South African Rapper, Kwesta.
