select the

sub 50 minute 10km program

and I shall come back to you about the pace for the 2000's

okay i'll start on tuesday, but i will reduce the 30 minute runs to 20 min runs and the long runs will be 50-60 minutes with the longest time on feet being around 70 minutes..

this is to prevent me from training to much... my weeks have been a maximum of 30 to 35k...

is that ok?

Hi M .. I should have been clearer

only the structure of the program and not the actual sessions

we would revamp everything to accommodate you and your level, so we would certainly be cautious about doing too much

tomorrow up to 1hr would be fine, if you feel like only 30 to 40 minutes then even that is OK, the main session is Thursday

Cheers

so i did my 50 minute run today, it had some small hills in it:

time:48:44
Pace 7:13 per km
avg heartrate: 158
max heartrate: 181 (in the last uphill 1k home i couldn't resist upping the pace a bit...)

any word on the 2k pace for the day after tomorrow?

i have a park with both a 550 meter and 1250 meter loop in it.. i figured out how to run a 1000 or a 2000 on the 550 loop. the remaining distance i will use to walk my between 2000 recovery (or should i jog the recovery?)

Google maps and my gps agree on the loop length..
