World Indoors : Flu forces Bucher withdrawal posted 27.02
World 800 metres champion Andre Bucher will not compete in next month's world indoor championships in Birmingham. .
The Swiss Athletics Federation announced on Thursday that Bucher's decision was due to an ongoing illness.

Track Indoor : Ethiopia's Adere just misses world record posted 06 Feb
DORTMUND, Germany - Ethiopia's Berhane Adere came within 87 hundredths of a second from breaking the women's world indoor 5,000 meters record on Wednesday.
With a time of 14:48.22 seconds, Adere just missed out on bettering the record of 14:47.35 set on the same track four years ago by Gabriele Szabo of Romania.
