Korir wins Mercedes-Benz Classic Mile
On the historic grounds of Galt Collegiate Institute in Cambridge, Ontario Shedrack Korir (Kenya) was the top finisher in the elite men's division of the Mercedes-Benz Classic Mile. The race takes place on a traditional clay track to mimic the conditions that Roger Bannister faced when he first broke the four minute mile in 1954.
