There was an outstanding start to the Dublin County Board
Graded Series this week when the 3,000m development race produced
a new Irish Junior Record as well as a large number of PB's.
Mullingars Mark Christie recorded a time of 8.04.48 in 2nd
place beating the 23 year old record
of 8.06.3 set by Brian O Keefe back in July 1981. The race
also produced twelve Personal Bests led by European U-23 5000m
bronze medallist Rob Connolly.
