Alastair Cragg will lead the Irish Team in the European Cross Country Championships scheduled for Tilburg in Holland on December 11th.
Cragg has returned from injury recently with two fine runs on the roads in the USA and the europeans will provide him with an ideal platform to re launch himself after missing the track season.
Gary Murray winner of the Inter Counties Championships is also included with Martin fagan who is based in Providence University named in the mens squad.
Jolene Byrne after an impressive run in Sligo leads the womens team with US based Sligo athlete Mary Cullen also included. The first five from Sunday's race in Sligo are included.
Mick Clohissey leads the Junior mens team which includes both Colin Costolloe and Danny Darcy who subject to fitness have been included after missing Sundays race throught Illness and injury.
The womens Junior team includes the first five from the inter counties with Breffni Twohig also included.
