Sunday 11th of January was the date set for the annual Columbia trail master series that has steadily grown over the last few years. AMA events are host to a number of events to include adventure racing triathlon and trail races which are ongoing through out the calendar year in Thailand.
Columbia Trail Master
The Columbia trail master is a event growing in popularity with over two thousand competitors entering this year, which are divided into 4 races of varying distances of 50k, 25k, 10k and a fun run of 3k. The event is well organized and sees the runners going through some fantastic picturesque scenery. The atmosphere is also very friendly. The courses are very challenging and will appeal to all abilities as the conditions can be very humid and hot, to add to the nature of the course. The organizers do a great job of changing a well marshaled course every year. There are adequate water stations provided and medical teams on hand should you need. Further more there is an extensive prize list for the 50k, 25k and 10k also applying to 10 year age groups. All in all a great day, with something for everyone and no matter their ability.
