Athletics Canada names 2011 Panamerican Junior Championship Team<\/strong><\/p>\n

Canada Youth Team<\/p><\/div>\n

Ottawa, Ont. <\/strong>– Athletics Canada officially announced today a contingent of 55 junior aged athletes (16-19 years of age) that will travel to Miramar, Florida to compete at the 2011 Panamerican Junior Championships July 22-24.<\/p>\n

Fast times are expected at Ansin Sports Complex which features an IAAF certified FTX Mondo track surface.<\/p>\n

At the last edition of these championships in 2009 the Canadian squad finished 5th overall as a team with a haul of 13 medals (3 Gold, 3 Silver, 7 Bronze).<\/p>\n
