Brown, who competes for the USC Trojans, said on Twitter, &#8220;Appreciate all the love! Came out healthy and it&#8217;s all coming together at the right time. On to Eugene (2014 NCAA Championships) for my final collegiate meet.&#8221; Until yesterday Atlee Mahorn owned the best Canadian mark in the 200-metres of 20.17 set in 1991.<\/p>\n<p>Jessica Furlan of Regina, Sask., set a new Canadian record of 9:48.89 in the women&#8217;s 3000-metres steeplechase at the Speed River Inferno in Guelph, Ont. Furlan&#8217;s time improved Carol Henry&#8217;s previous national best of 9:51.10 set in 2002. Furlan said via Twitter, &#8220;Inspiration for tonight&#8217;s race found on the inside of my running tops (Run fast live fearless). I&#8217;ve got nothing to lose and everything to gain.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Brianne Theisen-Eaton of Humboldt, Sask., finished second in the heptathlon at the prestigious Hypo-Meeting IAAF World Combined Events Challenge in G\u00f6tzis, Austria.
