Well, what can I say - training seems to be going sideways again at the moment. Have had some serious sleep pattern disturbances over last few nights. 4 hours the night before last. Got lots going on at work, most busiest time all year. So trying to get on top of that.
Ankle/shin is much better, a ran a little on it yesterday on the way to the beach for a surf session, it felt good. Upon paddling out noticed a dull, sore pain in left shoulder, only very acute. I did the age old trick of carrying on as I thought it might wear off. I did take it easy but it got worse and now I am paying for it! What a disaster.Caught some amazing waves though, it was a good session. I had to get out after an hour as it was starting to get dangerous to stay in with the shoulder pain. I haven't injured my shoulder like this for years, not sure how this has happened other than some light weights I did earlier in the week in the gym.
On this note I'm planning some serious downtime over the weekend. I think the DIY stint on the bathroom has had more of an impact than I realised. Admittedly I did really go for it and unfortunately this is the price I have to pay.
I wish I could say the bathroom looks great, however we only got the broad basics finished, eletrics, plumbing etc done - decoration is not for long time yet. Ho hum.
