10K Training Program Question - Hyperspace - 26-07-2010

TheEd,

waddle this eve:

4.4km/24:18/5:14/km avg

felt heavy and a little sluggish although not too bad-might do an easy 30mims first thing in morn to just get my momentum back up before doin the 6x1km on Wed Am-sound like a plan?

Cheers,

D

10K Training Program Question - Hyperspace - 27-07-2010

TheEd,

6km/32:25/124hravg/5:09/km

1st 3km were a breeze, a bit puffed out after that
but all good-found a hilly but nice road stretch for the 1km reps, will do tomorrow afternoon after work, what pace for 2moro reps?

Catchup soon,

D

Ps: have you been getting out?

10K Training Program Question - TheEd - 28-07-2010

Hi D .. look at doing 4.05 to 4.15 .. no need to go faster as the session will assist you in getting you on your way

cheers

TheEd
ps.. running coming along slowly but losing weight quite nicely

10K Training Program Question - Hyperspace - 28-07-2010

TheEd,

Forgot Hrate monitor and battery run out on foot pod for distance towards end of first rep-comfortably holding 4:00 pace on first rep though-Used a marker from then on-reset watch on 4:10 countdown and hit 1km for remaining reps so pleased-felt in control and not digging too deep so all good-calves held up well.

Had a 45 min surf this eve, all good-rest tomorrow or a 30 mjn waddle?

Cheers,

D

10K Training Program Question - Hyperspace - 30-07-2010

TheEd,

on travels home from work trip, poor journey due to traffic-managed a surf y/day as conditions where staying v.good-ended up being over a 2 hr session, also had a few drinks last night so feeling a bit jaded today with the travelling as well thrown in.

Might have to postpone the 4/5km pace trial tomorrow and just waddle instead-maybe do the pace trial on Sun? Give myself some time to recover properly as calves were seriously cramping up on me when paddling on surf board y/day-hope this sound sensible and doesn't lead to excessive slippage on the training sched,

catchup soon,

D

ps good to hear about the weight-loss
