How to train - Raginglynx - 22-06-2011

Today at my morning run I had an unintentional change. I thought I had run the same pace as two days ago. It felt as tough. I didn't look at the watch during.

Afterwards I noticed that I had run at 4:35 instead of closer to 5
I don't know if it's good or bad..

It was still tough, but I felt my last run was too

Thu 23 June – In fuzhou

55:17 – 12.07 km – 4:35 min/km – 159 in avg hr

Christian

Hi!

This weekend we were away and this time I wasnt able to find somewhere to run. I was in the city Hangzhou. So some days without running. Tonight after work, however, I will try to go for a run.

Also, the last period of two-week recovery has gone by. I've hadn't had any pains in the right foot for over a week now. How do you suggest we continue for next week?

rgds,
Christian

consider doing week 1 from this week and reducing the 2k session to 3 x 2k for this week .. keep all the easy runs at least 20% shorter or even only 30 minutes for now

hope it all stays together

Thank you!

I'll start out easy with the easy runs. What pace should I aim for at the 3x2k?

Here's by the way my data from this morning:

Mon 27 June – In fuzhou

1:00:24 – 12.26 km – 4:56 min/km – 154 in avg hr

What do you think about those values?

rgds,
Christian

the data looks OK and once you do the 2000's there should come a change it feedback

for the 2k start at 4 minutes per k for the session

try enjoy

Hi TheEd!

Unfortunately I've caught a cold yesterday. It's only a very runny nose and a heavy head, but I guess it wouldn't be so wise to start running on the program again now.. Right?

So how should I proceed. Wait until it feels better, and if I can start running again this week I can build up a little until next week. Or should I start the program in the middle of the week?

rgds,
Christian
