Speeding up very late in the session is admittedly very difficult. But yeah, i will try to keep it steady during the first few kms and speed up the following kms. I'll update you on how it goes
Thanks for the continuous advice!

Hello theEd!
Today i wasnt able to finish my 5x2000m. I only had 2 intervals of 2k.
The first 2k with a 3:35min/km
Second was 3:44min/km
I wasnt able to do the 3rd the 4th or the 5th since i really had trouble maintaining my breathing.
Also, since day21 (of the previous cycle) i had this painful piercing sensation in the side of my hips. I didnt feel it during the intervals but felt it every minute of easy runs. Any advice?

Hi theEd. So ive decided that the smart thing to do is to take a few days break now until the pain subsides since the pain even persists when im walking. Maybe 3-4days of rest. If the pain is gone by then, ill restart the cycle. If not, what should i do? If i take a break now, can i still re-acquire the fitness i lost during the break before the second week of october (i have a race by then)?

Hi theEd. So as you already know i will come back from an injury. Almost 10 days ive rested(as recommended by my physio). A couple of days from now, surely i will return to training! Any adjustments to make for easy runs, intervals, and/or long runs? Please let me know. My concern is to not aggravate the injury and at the same time, maintain and improve running ability.
Let me know what adjustments i should make for this cycle.
