Hi The Ed
Been a long while since I have posted.
Absolutely over the moon - yesterday I ran my first 10k in 2 years and so pleased I managed a 3min 41sec PB.
PB is now 51:12, so getting ever closer to sub 50 minute 10k.
So great to know that in 2 years having moved out of my 30's and into my 40's I can still get quicker
I've got my weight down to 51kg (I'm only 5' 3") and done loads of strength and core work, so now's the time to get back to the programmes over the summer.
Based on my 10k time above, what would you suggest as the target 2k and 1k reps target pace.
(I shocked myself when I looked back at the results on my garmin. My 1k split at 7k mark was 4mins 47secs - I never run a 1k speed rep that fast before, let alone in the middle of a race, so no idea where that came from!)
Speak soon
