congrats Dan .. consider going onto the off period and build up for a few weeks so you able to bring your aerobic runs / level up . then a 4k time-trial
we maintain the 1hr runs in certain areas instead of the 30 minutes easy (for example) and we do the 2k and 1k sessions according to the 4k time-trial
then the training will have been progressive
please ask questions about the suggestions

ps.. congrats on cracking 35 .. once you running sub 17 for 5k, going under 34 minutes is very possible
