This is the first time a sports event held in Estonia is awarded such a high international organisational standard.<!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>Tallinn Marathon Events receive Bronze Label<\/h3>\n<p>This year, 21,494 runners from 65 countries in total took part in the international sports event with the highest participation rate in Estonia. Next year, the public\u2019s interest will likely be even greater, because in 2020, both the marathon and half marathon of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.time-to-run.com\/marathon\/tallinn\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tallinn Marathon<\/a> will be World Athletics Bronze Level races. For the first time ever, the organisers have set limits for participant numbers at different distances to ensure better planning for the major event. In 2020, the largest sports event in Estonia will allow four thousand participants on the marathon course, five thousand on the half marathon course and twelve thousand on the 10 km racetrack. Registration is already open at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tallinnmarathon.ee\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.tallinnmarathon.ee<\/a><br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nThe three-day event of 2020 involving the best athletes and thousands of enthusiasts starts on Friday, 11 September with the 5 km Nike Youth Race, continues on Saturday, 12 September with the half marathon (21.1 km) and 10 km, the grand final is on Sunday, 13 September with the marathon (42.2 km) and kids\u2019 races.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Other World Athletics Bronze Label marathons include the Venice, Florence, Geneva, Copenhagen, Madrid, Krakow, Barcelona, Sao Paolo, Porto, Bucharest and Sofia marathons.<\/p>\n<p>Tallinn Marathon got the chance to apply for certification as a World Athletics label race thanks to the contributions of the Ministry of Culture, City of Tallinn, Estonian Athletic Association and many supporters.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nRegister for the first ever World Athletics Bronze Label Tallinn Marathon held on 11-13 September 2020 at www.tallinnmarathon.ee<\/p>\n<p>The lowest registration fees are valid until 31 December.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>World Athletics has recognised Tallinn Marathon as a Bronze Label race.
