With Saturday’s long morning run in mind, refueling was a clear priority — so we headed straight from the harbour to a shared pasta dinner. After our meal, we walked to the event centre at Freedom Square to collect our race numbers. Fortunately, everything in Tallinn is within walking distance, and we continued on foot to our hotel.

Our accommodation was located right next to the start and finish area — a perfect spot that made race preparations easy and stress-free. After the run, we enjoyed the hotel’s jacuzzi and sauna facilities, providing the much-needed relaxation after the half marathon. It also became the perfect place to share stories and reflections on the day’s performances.

Participants and Performances

The most popular distance in Tallinn was once again the half marathon, attracting a record-breaking 5,000 runners this year. The majority of our group — 17 runners in total — took part in the Saturday half marathon, which wound through Tallinn’s beautiful scenery. The course is mostly flat, making it ideal for personal bests.

Amazingly, many of our runners achieved exactly that — their own new personal records. It was fantastic to be at the finish line, cheering on teammates as they completed their races with impressive performances.

One member of our group ran the full marathon on Sunday, proudly representing our team in the main event of the weekend — finishing in under three hours is an outstanding achievement!

Three of our younger runners participated in the Nike Youth Run on Saturday evening, experiencing the excitement of an international running festival. This 5 km race winds through the streets of Tallinn’s Old Town before finishing at Freedom Square, surrounded by cheering spectators. Our young runners were thrilled with their results — and their parents, along with the rest of the group, couldn’t have been prouder.

Shared Moments

After the races, many of us headed to a local spa for some well-earned relaxation. The warm pools and salt sauna offered the perfect recovery after a day of running.

On Saturday, we gathered again for a group lunch to share experiences and celebrate achievements. Based on the results, we also held an internal team competition — the race was incredibly close, and the winning team claimed victory by just a few seconds. The runners-up sportingly treated the winners to drinks!

Afterwards, part of the group began their journey back to the ferry terminal, while others stayed in Tallinn to soak up the weekend atmosphere — cheering at the Youth Run on Saturday evening and the marathon on Sunday.

Dexal at the Tallinn Marathon

During the Tallinn Marathon weekend, we were delighted to have Dexal as our partner, providing product samples for our runners. Each goodie bag included hydration tablets, energy gels, and magnesium lozenges — all helpful companions for long-distance running. The Dexal products were handed out to our runners as they checked in at the hotel, offering a small boost and support ahead of race day.
