Teams 3 and 6 person Tauranga Girls\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>full story &#8211; <a title=\"Greene takes title number 2\" href=\"http:\/\/www.time-to-run.com\/nz\/cross-country\/greene-takes-title-number-2\" target=\"_blank\">Greene takes title number 2<\/a><\/p>\n<p>AUCKLAND<br \/>\nWinter Track and Field Series, Sovereign Stadium \u2013 18 June 2011<br \/>\nJoshua Hawkins showed good form leading up to competing in the world youth championships in Lille France early next month with a New Zealand M17 110m hurdles record.<\/p>\n<p>Hawkins was over the barriers in a slick 13.66s (+0.4), breaking Peter Cox\u2019s 2001 record of 13.92s. Hawkins also won the 200m in an impressive 21.23s (+0.1), an event he is competing in as well in France. (Chris Donaldson holds the NZ M17 200m record at 21.11s). Last week Hawkins clocked 13.78s (+0.9) in the 110m hurdles.<br \/>\nPeter Callagher won the M19 110m hurdles in 14.76s (+0.4).<\/p>\n<p>Alex Jordan of Nelson heading to the World University Games in China in August won the 400m in 47.11s and was second in the 200m in 21.46s. Daniel O\u2019Shea was third in the 200m in 21.91s. James Mortimer won the 300m in 34.17s, from Shay Taylor 34.61s.<br \/>\nRyan Howe of Rotorua, who will be competing in the Oceania track and field championships in Apia Samoa this week, won the 100m in 11.04s (+0.7).<br \/>\nIn the field events Richard Callister threw the senior 2kg discus out to 40.83m. Adam Miller was second with 40.25m. Tom Walsh won the M19 6kg shot with 19.66m, Nicholas Gerrard was second with 15.70m.<\/p>\n<p>WELLINGTON<br \/>\nWellington Marathon and Half Marathon, Westpac Stadium \u2013 19 June 2011<br \/>\n46 year old Ross McIntyre from Havelock North won the marathon in 2h 38m 9s, beating Canterbury\u2019s Glynn Hadley by nearly a minute.<\/p>\n<p>Hadley recorded 2h 39m 6s, with Christian Muller of Auckland a distant third in 2h 45m 46s. Victoria Jackson of Wellington won the women\u2019s section in 3h 3m 37s, from Christchurch\u2019s Annabel Bramwell 3h 16m 15s. The half marathon went to Wellington\u2019s Evan Cooper in 1h 13m 14s after a close race with former Canadian international James Richardson (1h 13m 24s). Hayden Shearman of Lower Hutt was third in 1h 14m 18s, with Richard Swan formerly Auckland now Wellington fourth in 1h 15m 51s. Sarah Gardner of Upper Hutt won the women\u2019s half in 1h 23m 25s from Rebecca Keat of Lower Hutt 1h 25m 9s and Wellington\u2019s Sarah Christie 1h 26m 23s. The associated 10km was won by Tim Hodge in 33m 8s from Carey Chaffee 33m 39s and Matt Rogers 34m 13s. Gabrielle O\u2019Rourke won the women\u2019s 10km in 37m 5s from Sarah Drought 37m 24s and Tracy Crossley 39m 2s.<\/p>\n<p>BALCLUTHA<br \/>\nRosebank Lodge Half marathon, incorporating Otago Champs \u2013 19 June 2011<br \/>\nJason Palmer of Leith won in 1h 13m 27s, beating Lee Moreton 1h 16m 44s, Anthony Rodger 1h 17m 27s and Glen Ballam 1h 18m 28s. Merryn Johnston won the women\u2019s section in 1h 28m 4s, 40 seconds ahead of Sue Cuthbert. Maria Sleeman was third in 1h 33m 21s with Clare McDonald fourth in 1h 35m 45s. Kellie Palmer won the 10km outright in 37m 14s, from Joe Beamish 39m 22s. Donna Pettit won the 10km walk in 1h 3m 5s.<\/p>\n<p>CZECH REPUBLIC<br \/>\nJosef Odlozil Memorial Meeting, Prague \u2013 13 June 2011<br \/>\nZane Robertson 1500m 10th 3m 41.77s. His performances were 100m 11.07s (+0.3) 845, long jump 7.06m (+1.6) 828, shot put 14.24m 743, high jump 1.92m 731, 400m 49.62s 832, 110 hurdles 14.90s (-1.5) 862, discus throw 44.79m 763, pole vault 4.60m 790, javelin throw 54.01m 648, 1500m 4m 44.37s 653. Won by Beijing Olympics bronze medallist Tatyana Chernova of Russia with 6773.<\/p>\n<p>SPAIN<br \/>\nXI Reunion Internacional Villa De Bilbao \u2013 18 June 2011<br \/>\nZane Robertson 5000m 8th 14m 3.18s. Won by Abraham Akopesha of Kenya 13m 29.19s.<\/p>\n<p>QUENTIN REW SELECTED FOR THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS<br \/>\nQuentin Rew has been selected for the 50km road walk at the Daegu World Championships on 3rd September 2011 at 8am.<br \/>\nRew qualified for selection after his performance of 14th in 4h 6m 57s at the IAAF race walking challenge in Taicang China in April.
