\u201cI am speechless with this news.\u00a0 It is taking me some time to take this in,\u201d she said from Switzerland.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is huge and I am absolutely thrilled of course.\u00a0 It makes me extraordinarily proud as a New Zealander.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is also encouraging for those athletes, like myself who are proud to compete cleanly, that the system works and doping cheats are caught.\u201d<\/p>\n
Adams threw 20.70m in the shot put final at the London Olympics on August 6, but was beaten by the Belarusian who threw 21.36m.\u00a0 It was the first occasion Ostapchuk had beaten Adams in nearly 2 years.<\/p>\n
