{"id":828,"date":"2012-12-07T11:39:55","date_gmt":"2012-12-07T11:39:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.time-to-run.com\/nz\/?p=828"},"modified":"2012-12-07T14:08:59","modified_gmt":"2012-12-07T14:08:59","slug":"roles-at-anz-announced","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.time-to-run.com\/nz\/news\/roles-at-anz-announced","title":{"rendered":"Roles at ANZ Announced"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"attachment_831\" style=\"width: 541px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.time-to-run.com\/nz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/footstrike.590.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-831\" class=\" wp-image-831 \" title=\"Community Development\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.time-to-run.com\/nz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/footstrike.590.jpg?resize=531%2C270\" alt=\"Community Development\" width=\"531\" height=\"270\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.time-to-run.com\/nz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/footstrike.590.jpg?w=590&amp;ssl=1 590w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.time-to-run.com\/nz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/footstrike.590.jpg?resize=300%2C152&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 531px) 100vw, 531px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-831\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Community Development<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Two Development Roles at Athletics New Zealand Announced<\/p>\n<p>Athletics New Zealand has announced two new staff members who will boost the delivery of the sport\u2019s new Community Athletics plan.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Catherine O\u2019Sullivan has been appointed to the new role of Club Development Manager, while Amy McKay will fill the new Coach &amp; Officials Development Manager position.<\/p>\n<p>O\u2019Sullivan, who has a Bachelor of Physical Education and Commerce Degree, comes to Athletics New Zealand after three and a half years as Development Officer\u00a0 at Athletics Otago.<\/p>\n<p>Her role will be to support and help clubs to deliver quality experiences to their members and the communities in which they are based.<\/p>\n<p>In announcing the appointments, Athletics New Zealand\u2019s Community &amp; Participation Manager, Michael Sharapoff said \u201cCatherine will be assisting clubs to develop volunteers and provide exciting programmes, using successful models to enhance the sport using Athletics New Zealand\u2019s \u2018club focused\u2019 approach.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Catherine begins the role on 16 January and will be based from Athletics New Zealand\u2019s Christchurch office until April before relocating to the organisation\u2019s Auckland office.<\/p>\n<p>Former age-group international athlete, Amy McKay represented New Zealand at the World Youth Championships and also brings a strong level of sport specific knowledge to the Coach &amp; Officials role.
