The distances are 2-12 k and a relay 4&#215;2. His Royal Highness The Crown Prince of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.global-travels.net\/dk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Denmark<\/a> will participate in the relay. (The names of his co-runners will be released later). The participation is a warm-up to the Royal Run, which is a giant nation-wide mass participation race, which was initiated last year to celebrate the 50th birthday of the Crown Prince.<\/p>\n<p>The course is a once-in-a-lifetime experience: unique and epic on the grassy, sloping roof of the Moesgaard Museum and in the beautiful nature around the spectacular building.<\/p>\n<p>The Danish Athletic Federation welcomes the royal participation with great joy:<\/p>\n<p>\u201dInternationally, Danish running has high esteem. Royal Run, World <a href=\"http:\/\/www.time-to-run.com\/events\/half-marathon\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Half Marathon<\/a> Championships 2014 and the many weekly runs have resonance over the running world. We are proud of that reputation, and we plan to create a genuine running festivity at the IAAF\/Mikkeller World Cross Country Championships. The fact that the Crown Prince wants to be part of it is for us the utmost best start of a year of running embracing the Cross Worlds, Royal Run 2019 and more than a 1,000 recreational runs all over Denmark,\u201d says Jakob Larsen, CEO, The Danish Athletics Federation.<\/p>\n<p>The City of Aarhus and Sport Event Denmark are also looking forward to His Royal Highness\u2019 participation of the upcoming IAAF\/Mikkeller World Cross Country Championships:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am looking forward to welcoming His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik to the IAAF\/Mikkeller World Cross Country Championships Aarhus 2019. It is going to be a spectacular race which will lead the Crown Prince and the other competitors through the beautiful nature surrounding Moesgaard and not least the stage over the roof top of the museum will challenge even the best runners.
