Hi Gavin, please forgive the lack of response and not posting. I have had my sister here from the UK for three weeks and its put a bit of a spanner in the training works. I did however run my Intervals yesterday as opposed to Wednesday and they werent great but were manageble under the circumstances.
1st K 4'49 @ 144 BPM felt okay on the dirt road and managed despite my overindulgence over the past few days.
2nd K moved to tar and ran 5'18 @ 142 BPM quite sluggish but okay with it.
3rd K 4'55 @ 143 BPM knowing that this was the final segement went hard at it and only managed to sneak a sub 5.
I am now fully committed and back on track with the program and looking forward to the incremental improvements which I know are just around the corner. the next few weeks are going to be focussed and filled with running meaning and intention so that we can achieve that goal of 1st a sub 25 minute parkrun and then work on taking it back down to a sub 23 in the not too distant future.
