Full Version: HELP - Day 17 sub 40m 10k training programme.

Could someone please explain how day 17 works on the sub 40m 10k training programme. Currently running at about 44/45mins and determined to get sub 40mins.


This is the day training that states "30m min easy 6 x 1min fast with 1 mins low - 1min @ race pace F"

Hi Davers and welcome to the forums

6 x 1 minute fast / slow = 6 x 1minute fast @ anticipated race pace with 1 minute easy in-between

please ask for further clarity if needed

ps.. are you already training on the program or looking ahead? If you have not started, then consider doing a 4k time-trial, report back with the time run and from that we can provide you with the best pace for your quality sessions
