Sub 40 within reach? - TheEd - 08-09-2014 the forums are on a cache system .. so after posting, simply hit F5 and you should see the post ................... regarding Heart Rate and fitness .. when you take you pulse in the morning, if it is abnormally higher than normal then it can be an indicator that there is a sickness / virus within the system when doing the pre-build up, it is a recovery style / type of running and should never be performance related once you move into the build up, the pace would normally pick up for the same HR .. so for example if you running 130 - 140 bpm for a pace of 5 minutes to 5.10 per k .. a couple of weeks later you could be travelling 10 seconds per k quicker for the same 130 to 140 bpm hope this is easy to understand HR is great to avoid overtraining TheEd Sub 40 within reach? - NordicRunner - 12-09-2014 Great, thanks. For the moment I have taken a step back because of my health being quite variable over a period of several weeks. Running has recently only made things worse, it seems, and I will now try to stay off until my body feels 100 % "normal" for several days. Don`t know if I`ll step it up again during the autumn or not, it depends on how long I need to get totally well. Just taking my time for the moment
Sub 40 within reach? - TheEd - 16-09-2014 hope things are going OK your side NR, as you roll towards autumn cheers TheEd |
