Hey TheEd,

backing with feedback from last 3 sessions. I'm still following strictly the schedule. The AHR were the same before (143) and I'm glad to see some improvement that I thought couldn't happen as see that I'm running almost in the same pace which I began the program but with a less effort (less 10bpm).

Just have one question for you, in fact is more a curiosity, in The Off Training Period at day #9 you say most important to look after yourself during this period. Why? Anything especial?

Cheers,

FL

this is a good sign of development that your pulse is lower, you can soon start running at the higher pulse (ask for clarity, if needed)

Rest day Day 9 ??

during this period when you taking it easy, it is important to get rid of all aches and pains etc

hope that helps

Yeah Ed, this answered my previous question. When do you think is good to back running with higher HR and how high do you mean? Just to remember, I finish Off Period in next Monday and will be here til October ,17, Thursday. Unfortunately , will take a week off running , working on field and probably gonna back just in October ,25. What do you suggest Ed?

Cheers,

FL

no need to increase the HR just yet, keep things relaxed and in line with your current situation

then when you back in your controlled environment then we can look at the training at HR again

go with the flow, when you away and you can't train, if you do find a space, then simply run 20 minutes as you feel, building up the pace and finishing with a smile on your face

hope this helps

Hi TheEd,

tomorrow I'm finishing the Off Period, everything coming really nice and easy how should be. I have from Tuesday to Thursday before left to work on field. What sessions do you suggest for me in these days?

Best Regards,

FL

you can consider 20 minute paced as you feel, finishing feeling strong and wanting to run

Hi TheEd,

so I did the 20min paced yesterday and 30min easy today (150 AHR), felt pretty nice. Any thoughts about tomorrow's run?

There is a chance that I come back from the field on Tuesday, if that happens I will take the chance and start the build up period. Just one question about it, in the easy 1h runs, which should be the HR? While in off period the AHR was 143-144, and in the cycle before was 148-150.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

FL

maintain the same HR during the Build Up as what you did during the Off period (143-144)

20 minutes paced tomorrow will be fine, over the weekend you can start increasing the distance you run in preparation of going onto 1hr runs

Thanks Ed, will do the 20min paced tomorrow. I'm leaving on Friday and I'm from the Army so will work on weekend too Big Grin if I have any free time I will run following your previous tip, run speeding up gradually and finishing strong and wanting run more Smile

Best regards and hope come back soon :jester:
