1500/3000m training - TheEd - 02-04-2013

Hi access, please give me a few days on this as I shall create a new section for this on the site, the training plans associated with this

in answer:

1) how many times am i going to repeat the 2 week cycles ?
A. this will be determined by the amount of races available

2) will there be a off training period and build up period and will this be the same as the 10k training plan build up phase?
A. yes, I shall formulate the Build-up according to the specifics

3) what splits should i be aiming for the 1ks , 5k pace and the 600s?
A. will get this to you shortly

4) is this training plan starting on a Tuesday ?
A. Day1 will be a Tuesday, however I shall change this according to when the track races take place, so feedback from you important

5) are the runs in between the workouts going to be the same as the 10 k training plan?
A. more or less but a variation of shorter tempo runs etc

Cheers

HI
The Ed

There is no rush you can have as much time as you need in order to sort out the training plan.

In regards of racing there would be limited amount of races during april and may but the bulk of races are due in June and July , after this the racing will start to die out and by September i will start training for cross country season.

I will soon send you a list of all my track season races.
