Ok Ed, thanks for the advice. So I will try to run next from work and see if it's better. And about tomorrow I'll try to run as easy like the first 2 days...

Great weekend for you... :jester:

Best regards,

FL

Hey Ed!
So, today I woke up really early, 6am to run before the rain but didn't work LOL I had to wait until 0730am. Due the rain, the weather was cloudy and the street was wet and I had to be careful where I put the foot. But after all it was a nice run.

Time | Distance | AHR
105min 14.8k 154

Ed, I never ran with a HR so low. And this leads me to a question, a silly question I guess. Running with a low HR teachs the body how to run faster but with lowest HR ?

HI FL .. the low heart rate on the easy runs is to allow for the body to adapt to the training load, as you develop your pace on the easy runs will become quicker even with the low heart rate

we can't develop everything all at once, we need the body to adapt to the stresses of the various workloads

Hi Ed!

My first 5 x 1k in the cycle, here is the today's result :

5 x 1k , resting 60s

Lap | Time | AHR
1 4:40 170
2 4:40 172
3 4:44 175
4 4:41 177
5 4:41 176

At lap 3 there were a lot of wind against me.. the weather was nice today, 18ºC and sunny..

So coach to planning myself , the next two days, two easy runs, rest and a 5k paced on Sat, is it right?

Best regards Ed,

Fábio Luiz

Hi Ed!

Easy run

Time | Distance | AHR
30min 4.4k 151

Today was raining slightly, 15ºC .... Again about the 5k paced on Sat,I'm thinking in aim a 4:50 pace per k Ed, what do you think?

Best Regards,

FL

Hey Ed! I'm really disappointed with today's workout! I don't know what happened, I guess I was too ambitious today thinking than I could run with 4:50 pace . Great mistake, and I paid the price...

5k @ 10k pace

Lap | Time | AHR
1 4:47 173
2 4:49 181
3 4:56 184

Look that HR something went really wrong today... After 3k's mark I had to stop 4 times until fininsh the last 2k.... all between 30-40s simply to rest and breath.... That's a shame!

4 4:58 174
5 4:46 170

Should I stick with the planning and do 10k easy run tomorrow, 30 min easy on Monday and the fartlek on Tuesday?

Best regards and apologies for this training...
