RE: Yes please... - phil - 25-11-2025 Hi Ed, Yes, I have a hill loop. Around 680m in total, with a challenging hill of around 230m. Phil RE: Yes please... - phil - 26-11-2025 Afternoon Ed, Had a swim this morning, not sure if it qualify as a swim but I was in the water for around 15min, also had a nap this afternoon for around 45min. However, I don't think legs has fully recovered yet.. What is the plan for tomorrow morning ? Phil RE: Yes please... - TheEd - 26-11-2025 HI Phil .. interesting re: legs .. we keep the run for tomorrow as an easy aerobic run of 20 to 30 minutes and we see how things progress from there onwards TheEd RE: Yes please... - phil - 27-11-2025 Morning ed, Rested yesterday and did a easy 30min run this morning. Quads and hamies are fine, calves still a bit tired. However although pace were more or less the same as the last 30min easy run, my HR went through the roof. I did not feel at any moment that I worked hard or even breathed hard. Garmin says well done on the VO2max workout.....if VO2max workout were that easy I will to them every day. So I'm not sure if it is a glitch in the watch, ( I should maybe just switch it off completely and restart it again), or something brewing lurking in my body. Or just my body busy adapting to the training. Previous 30min easy run Avg Hr 133, pace 6.29/km Z2 (48%) 124-134bpm. Z3 (45%) 135-145ppm Today Avg Hr 145, pace 6.17/km Z2 (16%) Z3 (18%) Z4 (47%) Z5 (12%) What's the verdict Ed?, should I rather start playing golf ![]() Over to you Regards Phil RE: Yes please... - TheEd - 27-11-2025 Hi Phil, I looked at your data and it can be a hiccup, so I wouldn't hassle too much about it This week has certainly been a different week for your running what have you planned for the weekend? I must say I actually enjoyed that format of a long run. It forces one to have more focus, and the 2min break for a drink gives a welcome break. I felt good during the run, Legs including calves were fine. At around 12k I could feel legs getting a bit tired. This morning they not sore, a bit tired...lets call it sensitive. Rest day today.. 1 x 31:09min : avg HR 130, avg pace 5.44/km, dist 5,43km Z1 - 7%, Z2 - 73%, Z3 -18%, Z4 - 0% 2 x 30:19min : avg HR 129, avg pace 5.34/km, dist 5,45km Z1-6%, Z2- 91%, Z3-0%, Z4-0% 3x30:23min : avg HR 138, avg pace 5.35/km, dist 5,45km Z1-0%, Z2- 27%, Z3-65%, Z4-5% This coming weekends run needs to happen on Saturday, I have a family 6k hike planned for Sunday. Tomorrow just a 30-40min easy run...or what do you think Ed? Over to you Ed.. Phil RE: Yes please... - phil - 02-12-2025 Morning Ed, Did a 35min easy run this morning.
