Ok, took a couple rest days then easy runs sat and sun. Ready to pick back up. Should I continue on this cycle (ie 1k's tomorrow), having missed the 2k and long run, or start a new cycle with the 2k's on Thursday? If I do the latter, we'll just have to cut out a week somewhere to line up with raceday (jul 27)

Good start to the new cycle. Was aiming for sub-8:00 on the 2k's, pleased with the effort on splits of 7:59,7:58,7:58,7:56,7:56. Then ran an easy 10k (~5:30/k) with my wife after the quality session.

Will get in a long one this weekend. Moving forward.

Nice few days with some easy runs and a very hilly 16k on Saturday. 1k's tomorrow will be aiming for sub 3:50.

Another positive session this morning. Splits were
3:47
3:49
3:49
3:49
3:48
3:44

I felt like I was recovering well, and was consistently through the first 400m in 89-90s before settling in.
