The relaxed 10k was done in 56mins in the end. A 5.24pk pace took my hr above 130 so i had to back off the pace a little to stick around 130.

1000s today Confusedurf:

Well i was quite surprised about this session.
I managed all 6 1000s at 3.45pk on the treadmill but started off doubting myself during the first few sets:mad:
No hr stats today as the Mrs has swipped my Garmin

Getting there one step at a time

Many thanks to you Ed

Hi robbie

you can take a 2 to 3 minute rest between 1000's

but do not run quicker

Hi Ed,
I seem to be right on track at the moment with this cycle of the programme.
I'm sticking to it word for word and haven't come unstuck yet.
Legs feel good... Mental game is good also.
I'm very happy where i am with my running at the moment.

40mins on the road no worries last night. Running is no longer something that must be done in the day but has become something to be enjoyed and maintained.

Happy days Wink
