30 minutes easy running on Sunday

then you should be back to normal?

that certainly was a kick down over the last two 2km

what is your weight at?

TheEd

Quiquesubway 10k Training - Quiquesubway - 02-05-2009

average of 165... i'm still heavy, but feel strong. Waist at 30-31

i don't understand your advice. Are you saying that i should go for a 30 min easy run on Sunday instead of an hour? In that case, maybe i can do that today and OFF tomorrow?!?!

Quiquesubway 10k Training - TheEd - 02-05-2009

I thought you were doing the 8 miles today?

hence 30 minutes tomorrow

Thanks

Sorry,

I'm all messed up! I took today off and will do the 8.2 mile fun run tomorrow.

Next Sunday (a week from now) is Mother's day... according to the program I should race on that day. What i'll do instead is run Saturday at my runner's club 5K monthly fun run!

Take care and sorry for the confussion:duh:

PD: both hamstrings are feeling bit tender. will massage them and put some cold, as well as stretch them better before and after running.

Thanks for the advice. That's exactly what I'm doing... stretching as told, voltaren and ice. Didn't hurt today, but did hurt a little bit after running. It's fine now.
I ran the 8.2mi at 59:07 it was hot!! I felt alright. Ran at an average of 4:28 per K and there were some hills.

Next Tuesday 400's
Next Thursday 30 min fartleks

Problem- there are no scheduled races for next week end since it's mother's day weekend. Should I do a long run on Saturday instead?

Take care

That could be a plan however let's chat about the long run closer to next weekend
