good stuff .. the more you balance recovery and begin to understand your training the more enjoyable it will become and especially once the results follow

good development in the right direction

Hello TheEd

Plan was for an easy 30 mins so I chose an off-road course as I enjoy the feeling of running on trails and I think it aids recovery after a hard session. Didn't push, but did underestimate the distance and time.

Distance: 6.24 km
Time: 41:59
Avg Pace: 6:47 min/km
Elevation Gain: 250 m (750ft Climbing in first 1.6 Miles)
Avg HR: 150 bpm
Max HR: 166 bpm

Easy paced run at 10K Km pace + 1 min today. Weather was gorgeous but very hot which made it quite hard.

Distance: 10.32 km
Time: 59:20
Avg Pace: 5:46 min/km
Elevation Gain: 132 m
Avg HR: 148 bpm
Max HR: 157 bpm

Will try and run tomorrows 5K time trial a bit later in the day

Hi TheEd

Bit of a wasted weekend for me. So knackered after work on Saturday that I fell asleep instead of going for a run and Sunday being up at 4:15am for 14 hours working at the Etape Eryri finished me off.

Today I just wanted to get out and stretch my legs with a steady moderate flat run. Weather was very warm and railway had a stiff easterly that was into my face for most of the last 4 miles.

Distance: 13.48 km
Time: 1:15:34
Avg Pace: 5:36 min/km
Avg HR: 153 bpm
Max HR: 161 bpm

I'm probably going to do a 9KM Trail race on Friday evening for no other reason than it's organised by a friend and I can race for free. Apart from that I'd really appreciate some input on what elements of the cycle I should build in this and next week to get me back on track.

Thanks

Keith
