Ok. Still not been feeling great, but did manage yoga last thursday, tennis on Sat and dancing on Monday. And today I went for a run. I was determined to run really slowly and I managed that. In fact, I achieved a PW - 5.17 km in 42.15. I was pleased with my self-discipline and looked forward to discovering that I had mainly run in zone 3. But I was heading for disappointment. According to my Oura watch, I only ran for 34 mins and for all this period I was in zone 5 with an average heart rate of 152.
So I am left a bit confused. Maybe, the ring is not measuring my heart rate or zones correctly? Anyway, I will try again next week.
Interestingly, on Sat when I cycled to tennis, played tennis and then cycled home it gave me: 2 22 mins of activity: 43 mins n zone 1; 60 mins in zone 2; 26 mins in zone 3; 1 min in zone 4; and 0 in zone 5. Average heart rate 102 Most of the zone 3 was cycling there and then the first 20 mins of tennis, so maybe once my heart rate goes up it stays there unless I stop and stand around for a bit.
