Hi Ed,

I'm still here. After the 10k I took 6 days off then been doing gentle 5k runs 3 times a week at between 5:30 and 6:00 / km.Calves much better now. I think it was just down to being a new runner.

Just wondering what to do next regards building up with a view to getting back on the sub 50?

consider doing 2 to 3 weeks of the Build-Up program

over the Festive Season, however, do cutback on all the sessions, and consider running every 2nd day for the 1st two weeks, providing feedback so we can try to avoid 'adaptation' problems
