Welcome to the Commonwealth Games section

The Commonwealth Games takes place every 4 years and has a long and proud tradition. Some of the greatest distance runners in history, Murray Halberg, Ron Clarke, Kip Keino, Ben Jipcho, Brendan Foster, and Henry Rono to name but a few, have competed in the Commonwealth Games. They were all Olympic Champions or world record breakers and except for Clarke, they also won Commonwealth titles.

2002 saw the hosting of the Games in Manchester
