Clyde – Glasgow 2014
Athletics Canada Head Coach Peter Eriksson announced today the standards for the marathon at the 2014 Commonwealth Games which will be held in Glasgow, Scotland.
Eriksson made the announcement during the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon press conference. The Canadian standards are 2:35:00 and 2:15:00 for the women and men respectively.
As the Commonwealth Games team is quota based; hitting these standards will ensure athletes are in the selection pool of eligible athletes to be named to the team.
