Armstrong continues Diamond form

Dylan Armstrong’s dominance continues in Rome; remains 2011 Diamond Race leader

OTTAWA – Kamloops, BC’s Dylan Armstrong remains undefeated this season in the shot put claiming the title today at the Golden Gala Diamond League meeting in Rome, Italy.  Armstrong’s fifth throw of 21.60-metres was enough to secure the win and earn 4 more points in the Diamond Race.

Armstrong is still the World Leader in the men’s shot put with his throw of 21.72-metres registered in San Diego, California on April 23rd and leads the Diamond Race with 8 points.

Felicien makes season debut

Making her season debut, Pickering, ON’s Perdita Felicien raced to a 6th place finish in the 100-metre hurdles crossing the line in 12.88 seconds.
