President Wirz was welcomed by the Mayor of Arandjelovac
European Athletics President Hansjörg Wirz met with Republic of Serbia President Tomislav Nikolic on Thursday in Belgrade to discuss the development of athletics in the region.
During the reception President Wirz also discussed the 2013 SPAR European Cross Country Championships in Belgrade, which will take place in December next year.
Athletics Federation of Serbia President Veselin Jevrosimovic and Alisa Maric of the Serbian Ministry of Youth and Sport were both present at the meeting.
During the two-day visit, President Wirz was welcomed by the Mayor of Arandjelovac before meeting with the Association of the Balkans Athletics Federations President and European Athletics Council member Dobromir Karamaninov and attending the Balkan Athletics Gala in Arandjelovac.
