Athletics New Zealand has named a team of 12 to contest the Australian Athletics Cup against Australian State teams in Brisbane on 20 January.
The meeting is an Australian national series event and is a team test match over 12 individual events. New Zealand has been invited to enter a team.
Points will be awarded from eight for first down to one for eighth in each event and the winning team will receive $5000.
It will be staged at the Queensland Sport and Athletics Centre in Nathan Brisbane.

David Falealili (Auckland) 100m.
James Dolphin (Auckland) 200m, NZ champion for the past two years and 200m finalist at the Melbourne Commonwealth Games.
Cory Innes (Otago) 400m, NZ 400m champion.
Gareth Hyett (Wellington) 1500m, twice former NZ 800m champion.
Stuart Farquhar (Waikato Bay of Plenty) Javelin throw, Six times NZ champion.
Jerram Huston (Otago) Shot put.
Women.-
Chantal Brunner (Auckland) 100m, Six times NZ 100m champion.
April Brough (Auckland) 200m.
Monique Williams (Waikato Bay of Plenty) 400m, Won the 200m and 400m at the Oceania Championships in Samoa last month.
Lucy van Dalen (Manawatu/Wanganui) 1500m, NZ secondary schools senior girls 1500m champion and Oceania Championships winner over 1500m.
Melina Hamilton (Canterbury) Pole vault, 11 times NZ champion.
Jessica Penney (Wellington) Long jump, Fifth at world junior championships last August, setting NZ W19 record.
