Hard to understand why my RHR is all over the place. Yesterday's run was OK. Not feeling brilliant at moment but still easy running non the less. Had a quick look at the race calendar but haven't quite made my mind up what to do yet. There is a 10km on 26/08 that is looking the best bet at the moment.
That means a bit more base mileage between now and next Wednesday.
great to having you on the road again Daz

hopefully things settle down soon

thinking of going longer now today. Should be ok. I'm either itching to go longer, or faster. I don't know what to do haha!!
Hi Daz, exercise caution so that whatever you do adds to you feeling good

don't push it unnecessarily (testing yourself to see all is ok) try to slide through the session with the least amount of hassle

good luck

Much better last night. Felt good on way round so kept it going. Was barely breathing, nor out of breath at end. Very good run, legs felt great, no out of the ordinary aches or pains anywhere. Was a little progressive on the pace, finished with a flat 5 min last KM so nothing excessive.
I did test the legs for about 200m @4:20 pace on a previous run and that felt comfortable without no adverse effects.

Feeling ready to get on it but I have a problem. I could start a cycle today or in a weeks time. I have my children for the week from Friday and may take them to the coast for a few days which means running could be tricky, let alone starting the cycle! They go back to mum next Friday so could probably get in the 2 km session next Friday evening on the usual day 3 and carry on from there. I will do what I can between now and then to keep things ticking over.

Darren.
Good luck Daz .. enjoy what can be done

You can see the 8km on Wednesday was a lovely little tempo-ish effort and felt good. No running today - I did have a mild intention to do a 2km session early this morning but changed my mind on the easy run yesterday, going to try and do the local Parkrun in the morning and try some paced running over 5km. Its a tough course so more of a tester of the legs rather than a target hitting environment.

Have a good weekend everyone!!
enjoy Daz

and have a grand weekend

Quick update.

Parkrun was tough but good. Clocked 22:14 I think. Away this week at the coast so I have taken the opportunity to run some hills in some base mileage. Cycle started today with 59min easy 10.4km.
